Teacher's professional background

All teachers have a bachelor's degree or above and graduated from: Beijing Normal University, Huazhong Normal University, South China Normal University, University College London and other domestic and foreign institutions. In addition to the professional background of preschool education, teachers with double degrees in Chinese language and literature, psychology and mathematics bring more diverse perspectives to children: calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, handicrafts, music... Teachers with different specialties make each class have their own unique class style. 


Kindergarten nursery teachers all have college degrees or above, and bring the concept of equal emphasis on education into the children's life curriculum. The concepts of respect, equality, independence and autonomy are permeated into the daily conservation work.

When I was a child, my father always took me to do some carpentry to exercise my concentration, and I stayed for most of the day. I like the feeling of focusing on polishing and doing something calmly. Later, I became obsessed with outdoor sports, especially mountain climbing, not because it was so exciting, but because I enjoyed the immersion of walking up step by step and only hearing my own breathing. So I heard that there is a mountain here, and there are a group of children on the mountain, so I came without saying a word. There are trees and wind in the mountains, and there are also children's laughter.


Many people think of competition and competition when it comes to physical education classes, but I prefer physical education courses that exist in a community and free way, and I pay more attention to children's experiences. We took three to six-year-old children to climb trees in the kindergarten, shuttled in the mountains and forests, and even took them to the edge of the cliff. We have a baby here. When he first stood on the rock, he was so scared that he even cried. I didn't urge him, so I accompanied him to try again and again. After half a year, he can not only relax the rope by himself, but he can basically do all the course projects. This matter really touched me. I think education is not in a hurry, but walking together and watching the scenery together.

When I was a child, I always felt that adults would not listen to me carefully. Those ignored feelings made me secretly hide a lot of thoughts. It was not until I grew up that I realized that every child deserves to be treated equally and listened to sincerely. So since then, I hope that I can become a person who "gives back the right to speak to children" - guarding their innocent wishes and watching over their unique childhood. 


When I was in college, I had an internship in a kindergarten. My senior teacher told me that "children must be reprimanded with a stout face before they can obey". I tried it, but it was very painful - it was not like me, and the child looked at me carefully. I once suspected that I was not suitable to be a kindergarten teacher. It was not until later, when I learned about more than a dozen kindergartens with different concepts and came to BBK, that I realized that education was not the only one.In some places, children can express themselves freely and make bold choices. The appearance of shining eyes made me find the direction at once.
